Description
Excerpt from The Breretons of Cheshire: 1100 to 1904 A. D
No man can deny this assumption to himself if he follows the teachings of the Bible, wherein is stated that Adam was the son of God, the Great Spirit of the universe. In St. Luke''s statement of the genealogy of Christ he could get no farther back than Adam, the son of God. The descendants of Seth, the son of Adam, called themselves the sons of God. Well did the American poet express this view of human origin in his Psalm of Life.
