The underlying plan of this book follows very closely the course in Practical Salesmanship given by the writer while Director of the School of Life Insurance Salesmanship at the Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A careful reading and study Of the book will show very clearly the underlying theory of the strategy of selling. However, the major emphasis is placed upon selling suggestions, selling plans, and methods of pro cedute which have proved highly successful in life underwriting.
