Description
Excerpt from Is the Negro a Beast?: A Reply to Chas. Carroll''s Book Entitled the Negro a Beast, Proving That the Negro Is Human From Biblical, Scientific, and Historical Standpoints
Sums I have read Charles Carroll''s new book entitled The Negro a beast,i have carefully, examined his proof texts, and am driven to say by facts that force themselves into my mind, that our author has drawn wrong conclusions from the texts of scripture he cites as proofs of his theory. Ifmy conclusions can be substantiated, his theory is basely false, and is left to fall by the weight of its own falsity, as far as scriptural proofs are concerned.
