Description
At the peak of a festival in the Western Isles, a working class, untrained, hard drinking Glaswegian musician experiences a pivotal moment in his musical journey. He spends the next seven years battling to recreate this moment, on the outskirts of an industry swamped in privilege, to which he feels he does not belong. His struggle with class identity culminates in grinding mental health battles and alcoholism, but is pulled back by his partner, Iona, and a deep but affinity love for music. A modern perspective on the Scottish music industry intertwined with romance, class bias and the unpredictability of creativity.
