Belongs to the series of works on the controversy above alluded to. He had no personal knowledge of the sup posed locality, and therefore had to contend with imaginary difficulties. It is written with that caution and candour which distinguishes him. The conclusion he has arrived at is, as might be expected, that Malta was the scene of the shipwreck.
