My friend, the author of this small volume, has given me the privilege of association with him in an attempt to set forth the general out line of the New Testament teaching on the re turn of Christ, in terms free from the rival contentions which, unhappily, have gathered round the interpretation of the Great Hope as declared by Christ and his apostles.
