Description

Excerpt from A Digest of Moohummudan Law on the Subjects to Which It Is Usually Applied by British Courts of Justice in India, Vol. 1: Compiled and Translated From Authorities in the Original Arabic, With an Introduction and Explanatory Notes; Containing the Doctrines of the Hanifeea Code of Jurisprudence

The extracts of which the Futa''wa Alumgeeree is com posed are always given in that work, so far as I have had opportunities of observing, in the words of the original writers. I have preferred to allow them, as it were, to speak for themselves, and have adhered to literal translation as strictly as the different idioms of the Arabic and English languages would admit. My work.
