She sat down with a decided air, and we composed a note to Messrs. Corbett, Of the London Salt Works. For, as everyone knows, Messrs. Corbett's boats are some of the best Of those which ply between London and Birmingham. It was a very charm ing note! And in it we set forth our desires in the simplest terms, and asked if Messrs. Corbett would be kind enough to help us in any way they could. Messrs. Corbett's preliminary cargo being salt would be a pleasant precedent to our occupa.
