Description
Grace is sure her brother Tom can read minds; he knows exactly what everyone's thinking! Grace just has to guess (which can be hard at times).
But things might not be exactly as they seem with Tom's powers. A story about the different gifts all have, as seen from an autistic perspective. Created by both autistic author & illustrator.
Harriet Axbey is a qualified teacher and PhD student at Durham University. Originally from London, after attending six different schools as a child, she decided to write about her experiences as an autistic individual. She enjoys reading, gardening, and volunteering at the university and in the local community. When not researching a new topic of interest, Harriet can be found kayaking on the river, or writing in her spare time.
Illustrator Biography: Jonathan Raiseborough is an autistic illustrator from North East England, final year student at the MIMA School of Art and Design and previous guest on ITV’s This Time Next Year. When not sketching, giving school workshops or forensically rewording emails, Jonathan enjoys developing new special interests, delving into background research for projects and is probably currently buried under a pile of sketchbooks.
