This Historic Resource Study had been prepared in accordance with the approved task directive for Package No. 806, Yosemite National Park. It accomplishes the inventory, identification, and evaluation of historical resources within the park to comply with Executive Order 11593, Protection and Enhancement of the Cultural Environment, and with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. It is also intended as a complete narrative history of the park, providing basic reference material.
